This night awakens the blue moon, Your love for me I shall have soon Upon violet wings When the crimson unicorn sings You'll arrive on a gallant black horse Innocent you'll be, I'll feel sad remorse For your kiss will be for my lips alone. My light will shine as yours had shone But yours, I'm sorry love, won't be as such For shadows lurk in my past--they hurt me so much. We'll both be burdened to endure these with fright. Tonight is the night The white moon shan't rise For your soul my heart truly cries. You say, "Do not worry" But I'm bringing you shadows! Do you not feel fury? "No" says the lips of thee, "No matter the shadows, for you are my light." But will you not miss how the moon shone so bright and white? "You shall make it brighter, in a different way." Oh, how my heart feels so warm; without dismay! But the shadows still lurk They follow me everywhere, as one would. I remember how on the brink of insanity I had stood But then you pulled me away. Unfortunately, the shadows still stay. You dim them with your love for me, However, I fear for how our future shall be. This night awakens the blue moon, Your love for me I shall have soon Upon violet wings When the crimson unicorn sings You'll arrive on a gallant black horse And I'll hope that our love shall bring no remorse.
